| For those of us that have to drive in the winter, it is really irritating to have the white filo-form corrosion that ends up on all the anodized, and plated components, not to mention the aluminum pieces. That white powder is actually the platings and the aluminum attempting to rust or oxidize. At BND Automotive, we designed the QuantumBlue Metal Anti-Corrosion Dry lubricant Spray that is not greasy or oily but goes on wet and dries....yet leaves a protective film on all components and stops the corrosion that we all hate so much. interesting....But how would you go about to remove corrosion already there??? |
First take a brush to remove all the corrosion that is there. Hard to get places should use a tooth brush or stiff paint brush. Once it is removed, wiped or blown off the surface, then you can spray the QuantumBlue Metal Anti-Corrosion Dry Lubricant Spray on the surface and let it dry. It now has a protective film coating that will NOT attract dust and dirt but will stop the corrosion.
It also is anti-conductive so it is fine to spray on wires, connections, and any other electrical components without fear of damage.
I think you will like it very much if you try it. It is a great product, just like any and all others we design.

Yea, I know. The host company that I have my site through is doing maintenance on the server and so my site is down right now.
In the meantime, if you could pm me an email address, I would be more than happy to email you a typical retail print package that explains things in great detail and some oil samplings too. What products were you looking for. I can enclose those as well.

Really, if your engine is relatively clean and it just has the filoform corrosion on it, just take a stiff bristle brush and brush it all of. Take a compressor or air blow off and just get the residue out of the engine compartment. Washing is an option too, even one of those "foam" cleaners and then spray off with a hose etc.
Once the engine is dry, then use the QuantumBlue Metal Anti-Corrosion Dry Lubricant Spray on it to protect it from coming back. The worst thing is that it makes pits in the surface when you get the white corrosion, so preventing it will stop pitting your aluminum parts!

Really, if your engine is relatively clean and it just has the filoform corrosion on it, just take a stiff bristle brush and brush it all of.
