An aftermarket intake showed very little gains on my motor when I was being dyno tuned.. Can't justify spending the money when I know it's only worth 3-4 hp for me.

But what about the K&N Drop!. It's about the same price of 3 filters & has a better breather element.

If adding an actual K&N intake assembly only gave me 4hp, what's the drop in going to do? I thought that K&N drop in was like $50? The filter I replaced the stocker with was only $7.

I'm averaging 16.3 since the filter change, up from 13.4.. Almost 3 mpg if you can believe that. scratch

Yeah, you were definitely a bit overdue.. I just changed mine out and it wasn't that bad.. How many miles did that one have on it?
