Anyone ever do an interior seat swap? I just picked up some new ones not sure on the difficulty of the swap. My seats are fully electric.

No, but I need to do my rear seat. It has a damn burn hole in it. Pisses me off, I didn't see it when I bought it. On the other hand, it might not be too bad. The Black Dog judge missed it. I saw him inspect that side of the interior and never gave me a deduct.

if you had fully electronic seats to begin w/ then the swap is real easy remove 4 bolts then undo the plugs then remove seats...install in the reverse plug in seats install 4 bolts... this is for the front..

make sure you undo the plugs last and install plugs first... you will need to move the seats to reach all 4 bolts...

you might find that your airbag light stays on once you do the swap... if it does then you will need to go to your dealer and get the airbag re calibrated. I was quoted 100 dollars to do this... i dont know what your local dealer will say... should be about the same...

the seats have sensors in them that when they get unbolted and moved around if not handled like a little baby or if something gets set in top of the bottom cushion while not bolted up it will uncalibrate the sensor...

How much should I expect to pay to get black seats...SRT, or R/T R&T? Are those the only trims that came with black leather?

Looked into it as far as I could, it looks like 05-09 should all work fine.
