 Fabric under hood

Today I unfortunately got that fabric under the hood wet when cleaning the motor in preparation for tomorrow.

Does anyone know how to get the ugliness (that showed up when it dried) out of there so I don't have to be embarassed when I open the hood.

Sounds like the fabric has collected a lot of dirt. You may want to try spraying it down with simple green and then rinse it real good. Or, just rip the fabric out completely. My 08 didn't even come with it.

So then i'm assuming that the plastic pieces for the scoop would be useless as well?

Or does that get held up a different way?
