| Mine was loose, I cranked it back down as tight as the other. No more noise. I think it's like a bolt when you first install it, it's tight. After a little use you have to re-torque it. Man what a nightmare. |

Thats basically what they are just fancy covers. But for some reason they cant coexist with the strut tower brace. So I will just put them on for shows for now on. _________________ "Don't talk about it, be about it" "Get in where you fit in"

I agree. Im sure they will figure out a way to mount them without having the knocking issue. |

No I didnt, but mine were not loose at all. Maybe I will go buy some rubber washers tomorrow maybe even double up on each side and then put the covers back on and see if that stops the noise. If it doesnt work then I will contact BT. _________________ "Don't talk about it, be about it" "Get in where you fit in"

| I tightened mine down last night and I thought the noise was gone. This AM I took them off and OMG the car was so quiet. No noise at all. I guess I got used to that sound that they make when they are tight. Your right Shawn, you can't even drive with them on. |

| I know its the strut covers but is it the big covers or the little bolt covers that make the noise? |

Nah, they arent much taller than the stock plastic covers that are on there. Id say there is at least 1.5" between the top of the cover and the hood. |

| Well Shawn also has an aftermarket hood maybe it is different I really don't see how they would be making noise just sitting on the end of a couple bolts that are already tightened down with nuts.. It is boggling my mind _________________ 2006 Daytona GoMango #3918 2009 Challenger R/T |

I'm betting that it has something directly related to running thhe brace with the tower covers.( flexing and tension on them) |
