| Ok so I'm sure some of you remember when I did the muffler delete on my Cali, well after many months I have determined that the "Drone" in 6th gear on the highway is driving me nuts.... Someone mentioned adding a "Resonator" inline with the exhaust only I don't know where to get one and or where to install it??? I know sad right? but I know electronics not engines LOL So any ideas would be great Rudy |

| Try seeing if someone on a Caliber forum took theirs off and see if you can have their old resonator. Im not exactly sure of location but most resonators are near the end of the exhaust towards the back of the car. If you have a "Y" pipe making dual exhaust, you can probably put the reso just before the "Y". You might want to look into getting a small aftermarket resonator if you cant find an OEM one just make sure its the same size diameter as your current piping. |

| I don't recall my car having a resonator unless that is another term for muffler??? I had the muffler delete done because even though it was the "srt" exhaust it still weighed like 50lbs not like I haven't added that much and then some in stero equipment LOL
So I guess aftermarket???? but where do I go? help me O B 1 Kajoey |

| So you are just running straight pipes then without any mufflers? You first have to see what the size of the piping is and then look under your car and see the configuration of the exhaust to let you know what side of the muffler the inlet/outlet have to be on and also check the length and width of where the OEM muffler was to see what size muffler you can get that will fit. After you figure out that, you can buy a new muffler pretty much anywhere. Summitracing.com is where I bought my flowmasters but im not sure what brand you want. You can also take it to a muffler shop and they usually will measure the stuff for you for free just tell them you want a quote on putting a muffler on your car and they will have no choice but to check the exhaust. |

I think you have a new nickname, Joey!
How about resonated tips? If he can get the correct diameter, can't he just take them to a muffler shop and have them welded in place?_________________ Another quality sig by DartBoy. Nine out of ten dentists approve. |

| When I first got my exhaust for my car I wasn't happy cause I heard alot of clancking and felt alot of back pressure. And the reason was they made a mistake and put on the 6.1 exhaust |
