PostSubject: Should I be worried?   29th April 2010, 5:24 pm

My buddy is picking up his '10 SS Camaro tomorrow. First GOD DAMN words out of his mouth?......."lets race, i'll smoke you". Nice huh? Damn right we are gonna run, I aint scared. Gonna get him from a 40 drop, my damn car pulls like crazy. From a stop though, its tough to launch. My car weighs 400 pounds more not including my big ass in there. Any of you ran a SS with an SRT8? what was the outcome? I will post the outcome, win or loose.

you'll take that Camaro, then afterwards tell him to go get a Mullet a.k.a "The Camaro Cut".... besides.... 2010 Camaro... brand new? probably needs a small break in period... even better for you to race him... maybe he'll blow the engine on the first run.. which would be hilarious.... hahaha...

if its a 6 speed a lot of camaro guys are dropping the driveshaft out the bottom of the car cause it can't handle the launch. if its the auto he will be alright and it should be a drivers race.

get him to come to the CAMM drag race day at Byron drag way on june 13th!

uhhh guys...

Kristie friend got a SS... and I have a modded R/T (but not majorly...abit)...cam and some aftermarket stuff...

I smoked him 2 weeks ago when we all went to dinner...
he was in front of me and tried to pull I stayed right up with him ...moved over and gained on him and passed him...

also he now wants a corsa exhaust for his SS... Very Happy

and btw that pic of the camaro...heard it was the VERY first new one sold...made it about 30 miles and somehow it pulled the battery cable into the fan belt...
