They finally posted up info. It was moved from a Friday night show to a Saturday afternoon show. If I am still working Saturday's in August I will be taking the day off to go to this one, have to go defend my first place from last year.

This show was a lot of fun, nice people, good area, just needed more cars like ours there. The judges specifically thanked Matt and me for brining the cars out and I told them that I would be happy to try to get even more out next year. So think about it. I know its a bit of a ways off.


3rd Annual Car Show
The time has come again for our third annual car show. Get in gear and mark your calender for this fun filled event. Bring the kids, a super bouncer will be at the show all day. NOTE: Judging will begin at 3:00 p.m. Roll in and registration is from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Pre-registration will be accepted until Thursday, August 19 at 5:00 p.m. Any requests - please call the Recreation Director at 599-7337. Concessions and restrooms will be available.

Day/Date: Saturday, August 21st

Time: 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Location: Kasey Meadow Park, 8047 W. 91st Pl.

Fee: $15 pre-registered; $20 at the door
Spectators are free

I have a bunch of friends who live out that way, so I plan on going.

It was a damn good time. Hung out with a cool Vette owner, saw that Inferno with all the chrome you can buy at Pep Boys on it, watched a car spin out and hit a light pole and then the police hunting him down.

ok, so I just looked on the calendar and this is the same weekend at Mopars on the Mississippi so I think Vic and I are out for this one, although it does sound fun.

I will be there. yes i was there last year. the chrome came from card id, slick cars and my chrome door sills were a custom cut, not pep boys..lol. I took my son last year and had a good time. Although i thought i should have won, with the custom tv's and wood and chrome interior among other things under the hood. But i did the the chargers that won, it was all good.

I am so disappointed with today"s outcome, i don't want to be in another show anytime soon. i don't know if they will are looking at my car or the color of my skin. Maybe i will just stick with the urban and inner city car shows.

I've seen CAMM kinda split off and go in different directions as far as shows this summer. We should take advantage of the power of numbers and all try to make the same shows together, whenever possible. Maybe do it the democratic way and post up the shows every weekend and run a vote poll on the forum. The poll winner is where CAMM goes for that week.

Rolling into a big show with 4 or 5 cars goes unnoticed. Rolling in with 25 or 30 or more and we will get notariety in a hurry. Black Dog judges fucked us hard twice and I know CAMM will never hit another show judged by those assholes again.

Judges and the people putting on the show wouldn't want to screw us over if we showed up in force. They would stand to lose too much money if they pissed us off by shutting us out.

I picked up my first win. :-))). Yay.
