OK, I'm looking for a mechanic / Service Center near me.

I want someplace that will treat my car like I would, if I could do the work myself...meaning I want it to be the best it can be, like new or better than new. You know the mindset...most of us feel the same way, I'd guess.

Anyway, I have an extended warranty through United Car Care http://unitedcarcare.com/. I DID have to go through the dealer where I bought it as a stipulation of the contract, but since the dealer closed, I'm free to go to any ASE-certified mechanic that will work with them.

I PREFER a CAMMer or a personal reference to do my ongoing work. If that's you, or know a shop you trust and would take your car to, let me know. Closer to me is the idea, to make drop off and pick up easiest.

Drop it off at my house, I can fix anything with a vise grip and duct tape! lol
Good luck with that Dave, I had a great mechanic that would have treated you car like it was his, but he passed away almost a year ago. Hopefully someone will chime in, but I'm the same way I dont trust anyone at a shop.

I've always wondered about that shop right there on Algonquin close to Pyott. They always have a few hot rods parked out front.

They always have a couple for sale, but I think they build them up there. I think it's called something racing.

No. I thought that place was car alarms and such. I'm trying to use Google Street View to find it.

I'm not finding it. I have a feeling it hasn't been there long, but I know it's there. I think it's close to my American Legion Post.

I have a friend that owns a shop in Round Lake on Cedar Lake Road, Jim Bennett of Bennett Enterprises. Adam knows him too. I trust him with my cars but I don't know if he is ASE certified. I would assume that he is because he is an owner/operator but I suppose that may not mean much when it's your own.

He's a good guy, honest and doesn't rip you off. I'll ask him if he is certified.

i have a body/service place it's in addison,there not cheap but they treat your car like gold.they do anything for any automobile........

royal coach ask for joe,there is a enterprise thats close and they pick you up for big repairs that take time.this place has the best paint jobs tooooo.
