Just an Idea for the members in the southern areas

Good idea and you guys can certainly make up gatherings, some of the northern guys would come down for sure. But actually having different sections set up is not something we are looking to do, right now. But in the future you never know.

Again really glad you made it up yesterday. Is that sticker on yet?

Chapters are for books. We are all CAMM, no matter if you live downtown Chicago or out in Death Valley.

Not if we built survival forts out of tumbleweed and cow skulls.

I'm from the south also, and have only made it to a couple of the gatherings. But i don't see why they should split in to chapters. That is not to say that you can't make up your own gathering or mod night. Throw in some Modelo and you'll have some of the northern people there.

Oh and don't forget you can't camp by the rest of us You have to make sure your camp is at least semi-far away, I know you wouldn't want people to think you associate with us

Okay bringing this back to reality

I have heard just recently about how a forums group split up into sub groups and then fizzled because it was too hard to manage and they became distant from the main group which I do not want to happen either. I think we are made up of members mostly from where we got our namesake Chicagoland area and this is what we wanted so all can gather into one group not be split into smaller groups. Granted that we also welcome members from all over out side of the area but I do not see us spreading out side of our area for any reason.

Hello everyone , my name is Mel and I live on the southside of Chicago. I am willing to travel north just so long as I don't get lost. Yes, I do have navigation. I like getting out of Chicago to be honest with you.

Mel you should come to the next Mod Night on the 26th and meet some of us.

I live (almost) as far North as any CAMM member.

I've been to the CAMM events from McHenry to Lockport, from Addison to Rockford. I've gone down to Romeoville for an outing. And I'm planning to caravan all the way down to Bourbonnais.

Some events are close, some are far. I make what I can, wherever it is.

Please, please don't factionalize, or fracture, CAMM. I like what it is: that no matter where we go, it's all together. No borders.

I've put over 7000 mi. on my Charger in less than a years time. I don't (can't) drive it if the temp. is anywhere near 32*F. Most of those miles are to CAMM events. I love to drive my Charger and I love to see all of my CAMM bros and bro-ettes? lol.
