Ok I am starting to think about putting together track days in Sept (if its still this hot in sept I give up).

Will try to set them up at both Byron and GLD.

Stay tuned.

GLD is Great Lakes. Byron is out to the west. Will try to balance them between the two so everyone has a chance to make at least one.

RT 66 is the worst track to test and tune at in the state. i wont go there.

i think i have listed the reasons why on this board before.

-tech is real strict
-they don't prep for shit for test and tune events (no traction)
-you can hot lap all day and only get 3 runs in due to the fact that it gets so crowded
-they let the staging lanes with full slicks cars go over and over before the street car lanes. (they don't care about the little guy)

i like to watch racing there though.

I agree 100%. Not a good track for the average joe going out to get in some runs.
