I have a rear bumper I could sell you rather cheap. It could help off set the cost of your deductible. Lets say a new bumper is $400 and I sold you mine for $75 that would be $325 towards your deductible. Whatever body shop you decide to use, talk to the guy about it. Tell him to charge the insurance company for the bumper and then tell him you will provide the bumper.

Shawn,

Thanks Shawn, I will let you know asap. You have a stock rear-end and it will fit my SXT right?

I can come pick it up and deliver to the shop within the next few days..

I did that before with the front end, I told the shop that I would provide certain items. Iam having the car towed to the McBride's place today.

THANKS!

hmmmmm. Where to begin. I haven't been on CAMM in a while. I went to pick up my car the last week in August - it was absolutely terrible!!! The back bumper just hung there and the paint had orangepeel all over. The inside of the trunk looked horrible, etc. I couled go on and on. So, they kept it to fix the problems. Went back about 4 days later, the car was better, much better. However, still not Great. I took it to another body shop, this past Monday, to fix what the other shop hadn't and to re-do some things as well. I hope it comes out better. Part of me really wishes it was totalled.
I'll keep ya posted.
I need to catch up and meet you guys at a CAMM event, with or without the Charger..

That really sucks. I had a similar issue with my body shop installing my rear deck spoiler. Had to really push them to get it done...heard the owner himself painted it. I had to install it MYSELF at their shop on a Saturday because "they didn't have anyone to install it" so I could have it for the summer UG. And it has BRUSH STROKES all over it. But I don't want to take it back their to have them redo it, even for free, because I just don't trust the owner.

So if anyone knows a GOOD, TRUSTWORTHY. Body shop up by me to repaint it, let me know.

This is right down the street from me...I know its not close to you but they do awesome work. They repainted my front bumper when I rearended a guy and it was perfect. The manager is Jim and he's my buddies dad. He did my job on the side but he'd be the one doing the work at the shop as well. Awesome guys to work with!

Hey Anthony - That is right down the street from work (for me). I am hoping the bocy shop where its' at does a good job. I want to get her back and tint those tails. The appraiser that I had met there - a week before last, immediately agreed that there ws still a big problem withe te bumper and trunk lid.

The battery tray, in the trunk, has the battery and power distribution - was completly craked in half. This is after the other shop had it for 5 weeks.

When I get it back, I need to do some electrical work on the front end (which will never be perfect from my son's accident).

My driver side halos are out - but almost all the wiring has been siliconed in the housings - I think it needs a major over-haul.

Any volunteers??????
