| so my stainless mufflers and tips have seen better days,can i use rubbing compound on them?will it be a bad idea? |

| mainly my mufflers a few scratches that can be seen from the rear not underneath.... |

| You could always try a polishing compund with a drill with a bugffing wheel on it |

| if the scratches are deeper, try rubbing compound first, and then to polishing compound.. the rubbing is a little more "abrasive" than the polishing compound... i think they also sell something at the auto parts store for it too... |
