| Does anyone know the difference between the throttle bodies in a Charger R/T vs. a Challenger SRT(or Charger SRT)??
I've looked all over and called the dealership for some part numbers but I can't seem to find these parts anywhere. It would help knowing what I was dealing with to see if it was worth it. Opinions are welcome.
Here are the part #'s I was given:
5.7L Charger 68060354AA (68060354AC)
6.1L Challenger/Charger 4591847AC
From what I see the 6.1 uses an 80mm throttle body but I can't seem to find anything about the 5.7. I have a feeling they are the same size, despite what the dealer is telling me. |

| I think they are over rated. I had a couple of questions about an 87mm that I bought and they both turned out to be true. question 1. Is the butterfly matched to the port? Answer...nope! 2. How can you get more flow if the intake manifold isn't port matched? Answer...you can't. I would just stick with the 80mm and call it good. |

That makes sense but I think I read somewhere that the openings in the intake manifolds are larger than the stock throttle body. |
