X2! Professional detailing IMO is a waste of money if you know how to do it yourself. I do mine all the time since I got the Charger. I had a shop do it once and they did an amazing job but id rather put that money towards another mod. If you can only do it once then you should do it before you put it away. Then just give it a good wash in the spring. But thats only if you dont drive it during the winter and it sits in a garage. If you drive it at all then id say do it before winter and then again when spring hits. |

Look on Youtube, there are a shit ton of tutorials on how to buff/wax your car with a buffer. Thats how i learned. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time doing it. Everytime I do my car, it takes at a minimum of 11 hours. I make sure I do it right. |

| Try to stay away from rubbing compound because if you don't use it correctly it create more Micro marring to the paint. Like Joey said check out YouTube or become a member of Autopia.com |

| at least have a car wash do a quick wax on it before you put it away but full detail jobs i do in the spring.
i wax my car again before i put it away but i don't try to get the swirls and all that out. somehow it seems to get swirls just sitting in my garage every year anyways, so a full buff would be a waste of time and clear coat. you only have so much clear coat you can buff so save it for spring. _________________ 2006 black /SRT//8/12.521 @ 112.263 MPH (corrected time) 2nd place SRT8 shootout Great Lakes Dragway 2008 / 2nd place Maywood Park AutoX 2009http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjQeby5cB1Q / http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0So5e-GGXM |
