 brake pad indicator

Ok i think now is time to put on those new pads, i am hearing a slight metal on metal sound fairly consistently now. Eric I got the same ones you had told me about.

Question, anything in particular I should tell my brother in law as he is replacing them :-). i am really good at handing tools to people but dont know much about nothin other than car go vroom. So just a heads up to all if there is anything special he needs to know for this brake job.

If you're not replacing the rotors, then sounds like you should get them turned before putting on the new pads. That will de-glaze them and get rid of any grooves that have been put in by the sensors.
