When you did your first pad replacement did you do both front and rears?

Just curious how much time im looking at Sunday when my bro in law comes over. Im hearing the noise but it sounds like just the front. Is it 2 swaps on the front for every rear brake job or are they all done around the same time?

thanks as always!
