So like the tiltle says, what did you do on this gorgeous day??
I did front pads and rotors on the wifeys maxima and my daughters altima.
I tuned up, sharpened the blade and changed the oil on my lawn mower.
My buddy Eddie came over and I gave him a lesson on how to wax his car.
Has a black 4 door jeep, and it looked really good when we were done.

Last but not least I probably pounded close to a case of
Didnt take my car out because when you start drinking at 10:30am,
its not a good idea to drive!

I drove all over sunroof open seal.tbelt on foot slammed to the ground.

its been a great weekend man.

last night i had a bonfire with a bunch of friends. we grilled burgers stuffed with jalapenos, cheese, and onions, while drinking a bunch of ShockTop (I'm not a beer person but I'm really diggin Shock Top right now).

today i started off by seeing that comedy movie "Your Highness" which was not bad. I like Danny McBride stuff though. he is funny as hell in HBO's East Bound And Down. followed that up with some awesome Fish Tacos and margaritas outside in downtown Plainfield. then met some friends to play sand volleyball. lastly i cruised around a bit and took some pictures when i saw the sunset.

Missed my car while driving in Oklahoma. Should be fun drive for menafter the upcoming mod day.

I waxed up the ride after getting back from the hotel, (we got a complimentary stay in Lake Forest), took a cruise, then we went to Portillo's with my family and Shannon's family for Ethan's (little guy's) birthday, good food, good company, and in the Charger wit hthe windows down!! Fun times, then the rain came and got seom sprinkles on the way back but nothing major, but I'm with you Shawn, I had probably like 4-5 Coronas by like Noon LOL

Got up
fed the dog & took for a 2 mile walk
did some chores around the house
Went to grocery store stocked up on food.
this was all before noon.
ate lunch
needed a new pair of work boots . so now had an excuse to take the cover of the Challenger & drive to Sears .
(yea could of taken the truck but ... you know)

got my boots . ended up putting 45 miles on The Challennger. now at 3015
went to Munster then around to Schererville. St John . Cedar lake ( cop followed me through Cedar lake)
back home.
did a quick detail on the car
played with dog.
swept garage floor
brushed dog
made dinner
fed & walked dog. visted with old man & his wife ( the love my dog)
called MOM to check in
loged onto CAMM

Will be eating a pint of Ben & jerrys here in a few

i made a weekend project out of my car this weekend clay barring, polishing, and waxing. I think im gonna need you to teach me a thing or two Shawn, hhaah this is the 2nd time its taken me 2 days to complete this 3 step process..

Was at work all day.....

Changed oil on the Durango. Also I started the bike, just to enjoy the sweet smell of race fuel.

woke up at 7, made coffee
got cleaned up and headed to the gun range
went to cabellas to by a chaise lounge w/ a gift card ( got 2 )
headed over to the inlaws to start watchin the hawks game, started drinkin
went to buffalo wild wings to finish watchin the hawks game, kept drinkin
came home and cleaned up the house while the fam was napping, while drinkin
went to the grocery to get food to grill and beer to drink
came home started cooking, resumed drinkin
washed my grub down with a cold one
drinkin now while waiting for the wife to finish her homework
soon to be drinkin and watchin sons of anarchy
then makin with the sexy time
passing out next, for tomorrow is monday

Painted for a few hours then drove all over...came back and took the fam to lunch at an outdoor patio in downtown Arlington and then cruised some more with them. God I love the warm weather!!!!

Got up made breakfast then got in the Chally and drove straight east to lake Michigan and followed Sheridan road south. We stopped many times along the way to check out the beaches and all the monster houses we will never be able to afford. HAHA
I think we ended up just south of Northwestern in less than friendly territory we decided to stop going south. Then we went to Gene and Jude's for dinner what a great day

Woke up early washed / waxed the car
Mother in law showed up and made breakfast! WIN
Showered then Kicked her out and went for a cruise
Hit up Tilted Kilt to throw some back. WIN + WOW
Came back cleaned the car some more and tossed back some soco's
Played football with my kids
Helped the wife make dinner / clean up
Played Black ops / Watched some Tv .. auction hunters!!
Then it was bedtime.. well.. that's what we tell the kids. lol


Kinda lame ass day.

I finally drove the Charger while its nice and clean. I had all the windows down and the sunroof open. The downside, my brakes felt like pure shit and I think I need new rotors. I thought they were just rusted but I drove for a few miles and they felt the same the whole time. Then I went by my buddys house and drank in his yard.

Even though it was nice spent most of the day inside. New job is kicking my butt but working from home now so its worth it. Cooked a lot this weekend.

Saturday it was pork loin wrapped in bacon.



Sunday made Matt shrimp tacos and I had pizza. Oh and this:
