i finally got the balls to try this worked out well only cost me
$6.79 total.....and know this is the part where shawn asks .WHY DID IT COST ANYTHING I TOLD YOU HOW TO DO IT" well my old bulbs bottom cracked it was made the same material as bulb ,so nor i got the ones that are black plactic bottoms .there a centimeter bigger than the ones i had but now there off... cheers

hahah... man, you're brutal.... you do break everything.... please tell me the guy at the parts store told you to apply bulb grease to the bulbs so you won't have problems removing the bulbs later on....

hahah you don't NEED bulb grease, but if you are someone who goes cracking bulb housings and shit like that on removal, you might benefit from the use of grease, hahahah...

they were 4yrs old bulbs,and glass 100 percent nw ones have plastic botom..

ok, all greased up i put grease in socket and on bulb,i cut away as much as the wire to the plastic i could to avoid contact but i think im fine

and yes the corner lighhts are missing getting the broken one repainted transluscent brillant black i might even do the tails that way
