| It will if you don't run dr's and hook it. The 215 mm half shafts will snap the very first time you hook up. |

Cam only on a srt8 and your gonna get 460-480 to the wheels? Not calling you a liar, and I hope you get that much, but I doubt it. |

Yeah thats probably at the crank. At the wheels stock is around the 375 mark if I remember correctly so 80-100hp on a cam/tune doesnt seem right. |

| True, but still I don't think you'll net much more than that even with Tim's Tune! |

At least Tim can tune. That car sounded like shit. It was breaking up. Who tunes making multiple pulls w/o a cool down? How did he get those numbers with a hot hemi that was pulling timing from heat soak? |

| Those #s seem very high for Just a Camed car. But than again every Dyno is different, my base line from Tim was 35hp lower than my previous Dyno, no changes to the motor just different dyno on a different day. Not sure if Tims new Dyno is as stingy as his old one but dont be surprised if you only pull down around 420-430 with just a cam. |

Damn straight! HP numbers don't mean shit. Too many variables. It's the numbers in the tune put into the laptop that make the difference. That's where Tim shines and Bob Kurgan tunes the same way as Tim does. It isn't having a dyno tune that's so important as it is who is doing the tuning. Having a shop and a dyno and the CMR software doesn't make you a tuner, just as me standing in my empty garage doesn't make me a car! |

| yeah i've been seeing crazy cam only numbers. Speed inc did one in a vette + e-85 and picked up 85whp thats 465 @ the wheels!!!!! there was so much controversy they posted videos of the before and after dyno runs.
Seen a few crazy SRT's cams are imho the Real brain of any engine _________________ http://www.facebook.com/pages/BlackWater-MotorWerks/127543833960263 |
