| The gang was chatting about this today at the show and Vic and I are definitely going. I have been checking out hotels/motels and it looks as though the cheapest is about $70/night up to $120/night. Galena is only about 15 miles away, there is a casino and lots of places to hang out. Let me know who is interested and if we get enough people, I will see if I can call around and get a block of rooms somewhere with a group discount. _________________ Girl 'Goin Bad' Go•Man•Go #3918/4000 |

I am about 90% in for this right now and its just for steak. _________________ Crystal Speed never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you. |

| We've had a change of plans due to my new job so we are out this year again (dammit!)
Now that I have a REAL job where I actually can USE my time off, I will definitely be planning on next year!
Jeff - scope it out for us this year and see where the best hotels are and I will try for next year to get a group rate. This would be an AWESOME cruise for CAMM. _________________ Girl 'Goin Bad' Go•Man•Go #3918/4000 |

| I've looked into a few hotels (that aren't already full).
This is 2 1/2weeks away.....Does anyone want to join us?
I'm still looking for a parade of CAMM cars to go with.
BTW- Congrats on new job Jackie!!! |

| Is this usually the same weekend every year? If so, and there is a group possibly going next year...I can try to get it put on the calendar in February when we start bidding out vacation for the year...

| I been to this. Make sure you take thhe Tent. Its all open and it gets very out. We stayed at a Nice B&B downtown and had a great time. If your into gambleing The river boat it right there. Tip do not take the bus tour of Dubuque the drivers are a little crazy and at one point we thought maybe we were going to be killed. Also the bus had no working exhaust so we got a little co2 poisinging. I not going my 300 isnt lookinng so good right now. Eric |

| Well, just Tammy and I went and it was a good car show-about 400 cars were entered. Lots of great scenery on the way there. We didn't do the "meet and greet" cruise. I had just driven 125 miles and didn't feel like a 70 mile cruise. So, we hit both casinos and ended up $300 to the good. During the show,Tammy won a 50/50 prize and gave it to me It's a hemi orange scat pack coat, pretty cool . As we looked at everyone's car, i saw the funniest vanity plates. It was Iowa tags on a Neon SRT4: OMGMOVE.....still makes me laugh. |
