Well.... All good things must come to an end.......... Apparently the nut /shaft broke, and was bouncing around in there...... I found all the pieces....... Now I just need to decide if I'm gonna fix it, get another head, or turbo........

LOL I am seriously considering a remote turbo next....... Turbos are more fun anyways......... And the fuel system is already there....... I just need some pipe for the cold side, a bit of exhaust work, and a turbo...... Oh and a bit of oil line and a pump........ I could see with the right sourcing of parts it being cheaper than a rebuild which will be around 1k.......

Good news!!!!!!! So.... I may rebuild after all........ I figured the scroll would be fubar'd, but I think it may be salvageable......... I thinkthe saving factor was that the crap didn't get run thru the impeller, so it just loosened up a bit rubbed the machining on the scroll down maybe .001" I think if I sand down the nicks in the inlet, it will be good as new....... Maybe need an extra shim behind the impeller...... So I may be rebuilding it over the winter/spring..........
