well finally got my package today from aac.i ordered the full l.e.d kit for the charger which included map lights,vanity,rear handle lights,trunk,reverse, and license plate ..i went with all red 3 chip's and a white one for plate....my only problem was with the trunk bulb ,i pulled it out of the package and one of the ends broke thankfully i had radio shack help me fix it..everything is back in only 1 casualty a scratch or two from prying the lens of....my only question is when your in the car and you click the map light nothing happens it only tjurns on from the dimmer switch....

They should turn on when you click on the housing

Seriously though I am not sure they are a simple replacement I had small metal heat shield in the map light housings that needs to come out if you didn't already as it might interfere with the switch mechanism.

I did they pop and everything .to my knowledge when you click them nothing happens jowever when i shut off the cat they re on then till i click them again.

k gt everything to work like it should.if you use map light switch and just by popping the lense.the only thing im seeing is the rear light by handle are off however you see a small glow.i was told thats how the chargers are .and i was told it's because there is still some current in the system even when car is off...see pic below

after reading a few posts on lx it seems this is normal and wont drain battery ,well they said it would take 11yrs too..lol .....some said they had no problems at all ...weird

i also bought silver star bulbs for my taillight's ,there a tad brighter.....
