Might get the car back tomorrow. I'm busy making some fuel for it to run on.

I am going home to South Carolina this weekend. Too bad I am flying. Maybe when we go at Christmas time and have my car I can locate some. Very Happy

I don't think so. My friends in Kentucky can probably find it for me faster then my cousins in SC. Will have to ask.

If E-85/E-98 didn't have gas in it people would drink it. Ethanol is just grain alcohol and methanol is wood alcohol, but you can't drink that.

Got my HHP/Kooks midpipes yesterday. They are really high quality. Too bad Kooks sent out the wrong ones. Sad Had to go with plan B. Cut the cats off and sleeve them. The car is converted over to E-85. 2 new Walbro fuel pumps and filters will be slamming the fuel through the new 80# injectors Smile Got the tank full of E-85 and me and Tim are going up to Machesney on Thurs. night to get it on the dyno. Make up a few new race tunes for every kind of temp. and DA and I'm off to the track. I'll be setting the tune on kill! Can't wait.

E-85 isn't that going backwards? I have found that e-85 might be cheaper but your car will burn through it much faster...

I'm hoping to get there on Fri. night if the weather is good. I have no idea what to expect, but it better have a low 11 with a 0 in it.

It's a Mr. Norm's race car. I don't drive it on the street.

Just got off the dyno. 540rwp and 490tq on e-85. 93 tune before 510/456. All stock internals. Pretty good bang for the buck. Throwing it in the trailer and hitting the track tomorrow.

Yes, I'm impressed with the torque it made. That will help me to launch this 11 sec. brick and maybe see some 10's. I'm not sure if it will happen the first couple of times out, though. I have a full tank of e-85 in there.

Hope to be hearing that alot in the pits, lol.

E-85 is 105 octane and alcohol burns alot colder than gas does. It even tunes better than C-16 race fuel.
