| I was going west on main st crossed 47 and passed the fisherman's inn up the hill and noticed the road was blocked with emergency equipment...I did a u turn and made it less then 1/4 mile and BAM a huge deer running full speed...it reminded me of being chased from behind cross field by a football player lol...I had no time to react by the time I seen it it was looking me in eye through windshield...it clipped front end and spun into drivers door The front projector headlight is trashed, the front fender is torn and buckled, the hood is bent and the drivers door is caved in and handle it even bent...So I turn around and go back to accident to talk to police and it turns other accident was also deer but it rolled over... |

| The first fall I had my car I spotted a big buck crossing the road in front of me. I saw him coming ahead of me in the ditch. They are in full rut this time of year and only have one thing on their mind. |

| I'm sorry to hear that you're lucky to not be hurt. Deer accidents kill lots of folks, they are the right height to go right thru your windshield... scary.

| Fast food is NOT hitting a deer a 65 mph! Sorry to hear about the damage but as long as you are ok a car can be fixxed. Did you get to keep the deer? Mmmm, venison steaks! |

Don't laugh...my cousin from down on the farm (think cousin Eddie from the vacation movies, but for real) actually did that...said he came around d a corner and the deer "was still steaming"...so he brought it home and butchered it. |

its completely legal to do actually, and not an uncommon thing to find, especially in the rural areas. As long as you claim the animal as your kill (gotta call the DNR or some shit and tell em you hit the deer with the car and are taking the carcass with you). When you think about it though, why not take it home and cut it up, its a fresh kill, and will probably be real nice and tender too . |
Well, if the deer is hit, it likely won't be a clean kill and I would expect the guts to have exploded into the meat and pollute it a bit. I guess you could clean it, maybe...just seems kinda heinous.
By the way... MERRY CHRISTMAS! SHITTER WAS FULL! |

i suppose it depends on what part of the deer you hit. I dont quite see the heinous aspect however, better the animal go to good use than lying on the road rotting away. |

| Damn that sucks! I hit a deer with my old audi cruisin down the highway up in good ol Weeskonsin...it did about the same thing. Nice dent in the hood around the front left light and some damage to the driver side door. Fucker was nowhere in sight when I got out.
Hope you can get her all fixed up! |
