| I will start, I had a 96 Neon that I bought brand new. I blew the head gasket 3 times in the first 2 yrs (common problem) and then proceeded to dump a shit load of money into it and turn it into a full blown show car. Well after that I swore to myself that I would never by a Dodge/Chrysler product ever again. I have been buying Jap cars since then, when the Charger came out I fell in love with it and simply had to have it. I think I'm sold on Mopar now and will probably purchase another.
So as the thread states were you a Mopar person before buying your current Mopar???? _________________ "Don't talk about it, be about it" "Get in where you fit in"

| I was always a Chevy guy before I bought my Charger. It was the 1969 Camaro that got me into muscle cars and it is sill my favorite car to this day. I have owned 2 Mopars before my Charger but I still considered myself a Chevy/GM guy. I used to own a 1968 Firebird 400 that me and my dad restored. Before that, we had a 1976 Camaro that my dad restored. Since buying the Charger, I can easily see myself buying another Mopar in the future. I might want a Jeep for a work truck. |

| Grew up in a Ford family, both racecars we own are Ford/Lincoln's so it was Ford or nothing for my dad.
Dated a guy that had a Firebird so I got interested in GM's for about 10 years. I used to covet getting a 98 Camaro SS.
The Mopar love started when I got my first Jeep back in '00 and have not looked back since then. I got a Chrysler 300 as a rental car and really liked it but was not sold on it 100%. Then I sat in a Charger and that was it for me. _________________ Crystal Speed never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you. |

| My first car was a manual '83 Dodge Turismo. I think I went through about 3 clutches in 8 months!! It was fun. Then when I actually had to buy my own car I opted for practical good on gas cars (Ford Escort, Cougar, cutlass, saturn). I LOVED the look of the Charger when it came out but couldn't afford it. It was the only car that I really wanted, looked mean. One day saw one on the used car lot, in the color I wanted it was just begging me to drive it so I did and I traded in my Saturn and never looked back! I have never bpught a car on pure impulse and never bought a car so easily. It was meant to be! So I guess I AM a Mopar woman! _________________ Girl 'Goin Bad' Go•Man•Go #3918/4000 |

| Hell, I learned to drive in a '66 Dodge Coronet wagon. I used to drive my brother's Dodge Dart before I had my license. Never got caught doing that.
My Mopar roots run deep. |

| lets just say all my cars that mattered have been mopars. the first 3 cars i owned i kinda didn't have much choice. they were hand me downs i got for cheap. since then its.
2000 Dakota R/T (still own) 1999 Dakota R/T (sold to buy charger) 2006 Charger SRT/8
lets just say it would take a lot to sway me to another brand, but I'm a sucker for sport trucks. that Ute made on the g8 platform they make in Australia caught my eye when i was watching top gear... _________________ 2006 black /SRT//8/12.521 @ 112.263 MPH (corrected time) 2nd place SRT8 shootout Great Lakes Dragway 2008 / 2nd place Maywood Park AutoX 2009http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjQeby5cB1Q / http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0So5e-GGXM |

| i have had hand me downs most of my life.
i have been in love with the gtx, dart, coronet, cuda, chally, charger, maggie, ram, and jeep for as long as i can remember.
my charger was the 1st car i ever bought that i wanted.
my wifes jeep is the second car i ever bought that i wanted.
when i find the right deal on a jeep wrangler sport with the 4.0 inline 6 that will be the third car that i would buy cause i wanted it. my drive will not have anything but mopars in it as long as i live. _________________ |

| Nope. This is my first MOPAR. My first car was a '71 Camaro (and dammit I wish I still had it!). Had a Firebird, a VW Rabbit (don't ask) and then assorted Nissans such as a Sentra, Pathfinder, and Maxima. I'd probably still have the Maxima if I didn't see the Charger. Once I saw it, I knew I just HAD to have it. Now I can't imagine ever NOT having one. This car will be with me for life. |

| It's MOPAR or NO CAR. In the last 30 years I've only had a few non MOPARs and I regreted buying most of them.
78 Dodge 1/2 ton pick up 78 Dodge 3/4 ton pick up 2 78 Plymouth Fury's 79 Plymouth Gran Fury 76 Chrysler Wagon 88 Plymouth Voyager 93 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton pick up 94 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton pick up (I won this one!) 91 Jeep Comanche pick up (still have it) 92 Jeep Cherokee (still have it) 07 Charger R/T (The Lady In Red)
The 2 Fury's, the Gran Fury and the Chrysler Wagon were all taxi cabs I owned. |

| this is my first mopar and loving it!
never had anything against dodge just could never afford any, always wanted a ram or dakota. mainly have been a chevy fan but again nothing currently what i wanted. 1st 88 beretta 2nd brand new 98 caviler 3rd 94 buick centry ( aka hooptie ) still running like a champ but got rid of it cause no garage and 2 cars. the buick liked to spill rain all over the driver seat. 4th the 08 sxt.
if i could i'd have either a 48 chevy pickup, 70 chevelle, or 70 charger. |
